Eleni Ann Kelaidis, DSOM, L.Ac

Eleni Kelaidis is a Licensed Acupuncturist and NCCAOM certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She studied Classical Chinese Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine, in Portland, Oregon, and finished her Doctor of Science of Oriental Medicine degree in 2021. She got into East-Asian Medicine through her studies of yoga and a respect for the transformative capacity of the body as well as a serious love of plants; she grew up in a family of gardeners and spent time as a florist before dedicating herself to herbalism.

 

Eleni’s style of acupuncture practice is strongly rooted in Japanese body-based styles though she has trained in a variety of traditions. She likes to incorporate myofascial body-work, as well as Koshi Balancing and So-tai. Her work is rooted an ethos of kindness; and a belief that astonishing progress and change can be made with gentle, intentional input. 

 

Her specialties are working with Migraines/Headaches, Digestion, Auto-immune and Post-Covid complications, Musculoskeletal Pain and Pediatrics. She excels in treating both those sensitive to needles and those who respond to more vigorous orthopedic styles and brings a versatile and customized approach to every patient, utilizing cupping, gua sha, rice-grain moxa,  and teishin.
