This is a hand crafted blend of Organic Assam black tea and Organic Bergamot Essence. Our Bergamot ‘Citrus Bergamia’ originates from Sicily in Italy, the famous home to this fruit, and is steam distilled to make a natural essence.

The name English Breakfast evolved for hearty, "morning cuppa" dark black teas that were suitable for brewing with milk.

This tea is grown in the Kurseong district (about an hour drive from the town of Darjeeling), at a Certified Organic tea garden. Due to its location and age of the plants, the garden typically produces very robust, flowery teas.

This famous Chinese black tea has been a long time favourite around the world. This tea is treasured for its unique smoky flavor and aroma, which is achieved through drying the tea leaves over pine log fires.
